The Lincoln statue standing in front of President Lincoln’s Cottage, created by StudioEIS, was featured on the February 2014 cover of Washingtonian magazine. As Washingtonian notes: “[i]f the Lincoln Memorial puts Abe on a pedestal, the statue outside President Lincoln’s Cottage – at the Soldiers’ Home in Northwest DC – offers a more accessible man, life size and standing next to his horse.”
