Newly digitized anthology expands access to the latest scholarship on the Emancipation Proclamation.
August 20, 2013. President Lincoln’s Cottage released its newest publication in e-book format, offering readers a fresh alternative for consuming history. Emancipation at 150 is an anthology featuring different takes on the Emancipation Proclamation from a dozen leading Lincoln historians and government officials, produced in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and in partnership with the United States Commission on Civil Rights. The anthology is sold at select online retailers, including the Amazon Kindle store and the iTunes book store, and is also available in PDF format as a free download from www.lincolncottage.org/emancipation-at-150.
