Hannah Urrey
Director of Advancement
Hannah serves as President Lincoln’s Cottage as director of advancement, where she leads the organization’s fundraising, marketing and communication, and site rental activities. Hannah’s career has spanned fundraising, communications, and organizational leadership within education, environmental, and arts and culture organizations. Prior to joining the Cottage in 2022, Hannah served as the first development director at Educare DC, creating a robust fundraising operation from the ground up and leading all external communications. During her tenure, the organization saw local philanthropic support more than double. Previously, Hannah led planned giving marketing and stewardship at the University of Maryland, College Park, and served in various fundraising and communication capacities at Friends of the National Arboretum. She holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre with a certificate in nonprofit management from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.
