The National Park Service Heritage Education Services launched a new on-line directory of American president historic sites on September 30, 2008: http://www.nps.gov/history/nr/travel/presidents/index.html.
The directory includes National Park Service sites and privately operated sites including President Lincoln’s Cottage: http://www.nps.gov/history/nr/travel/presidents/lincoln_cottage.html General travel and visitation information is provided for all sites is listed and links to historic site websites are provided for detailed, up-to-date information on visiting.
To assist you in creating your itinerary, NPS has created a map of all the presidential historic sites in their directory: http://www.nps.gov/history/nr/travel/presidents/map.html.
