The Treasury launches the new $5 bill this morning at President Lincoln’s Cottage. The new bill features a portrait of President Abraham Lincoln and enhanced security features. The first $5 bill will be spent in the President Lincoln’s Cottage Museum Store in the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center.
