Join us Thursday, November 19, for a Cottage Conversation on Abraham Lincoln and William Shakespeare. Michael Anderegg, author of the upcoming book Lincoln and Shakespeare, will be joined by Michele Osherow, dramaturg for the Folger Shakespeare Library’s production of Aaron Posner’s Merchant of Venice, to discuss Lincoln’s connection with the literature and plays of Shakespeare.
Dr. Anderegg is professor emeritus of English at the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Osherow is associate professor of English and Director of the Judaic Studies Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
