Deaf Appreciation Day
Our inaugural Deaf Appreciation Day, on June 5, 2010, offered special Cottage Tours that included ASL interpretation provided by Birnbaum Interpreting Services and were exclusively reserved for deaf and hearing-impaired visitors. The day was made possible through generous donations by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Lincoln's Shakespeare
President Lincoln’s Cottage took a dramatic look at Lincoln’s Shakespeare with Michael Anderegg, Shakespeare in Film scholar and actress Audra Polk on June 3, 2010.
Remember Abe Scavenger Hunt/Quiz
The “Remember Abe” quiz, was a partnership of Ford’s Theatre and President Lincoln’s Cottage the week of Abraham Lincoln's Assassination. The winners have been announced and prizes awarded. Thanks to all those who participated!
