Museum Store: Mary Lincoln's Inauguration Inspired Necklaces

Looking for an elegant gift? New to our Museum Store are four beautiful necklaces, inspired by Mary Lincoln’s 1861 inaugural look. See below for a detailed description of each special piece:

Necklace #1 (upper left)

This necklace embraces simplicity with a modern design of matte-gold halo discs that come together at the base with three cherry blossoms that make up its drop. The three flowers are tiered in length, on top of each other, with a ¼” separation between each flower.  The cherry blossoms are brass while the necklace is matte gold platted over brass. The length of this adjustable necklace is approximately 16”-18”.  The cost of this necklace is $80.00. This necklace is designed and created in New York City.

Necklace #2 (lower left)

This 24” gold chain necklace consists of clusters of crystals that symmetrically line two 3” sections along each side of the necklace. Located at the base of the necklace, you will find two pear shaped crystals, wrapped with a gold wire. These crystals drop at the center of the necklace, further adding to the ideal symmetry of its design. The cost of this necklace is $80.00.  This necklace is designed and created in California.

Necklace #3 (upper right)

This Victorian style brass necklace consists of cherry blossoms and wooden branch-like links between the floral designs. Much like Mary Lincoln’s jewelry, this necklace provides a drop in the front, consisting of two cherry blossoms in full bloom. The cherry blossoms are white with a solid brass tone tree branch link between each flower. The total length of this adjustable necklace is approximately 16-17” long. The cost of this necklace is $150.00. This necklace is designed and created in New York City.

Necklace #4 (lower right)

This long, elegant necklace is made of champagne-tone fresh water pearls that are divided by gold circular links. Located at the base of this necklace is a flower pendant with a rhinestone interior design on its petals and a champagne-tone fresh water pearl at its core. Immediately underneath the flower pendant is a tassel of pearls, measuring approximately 2” in length. The overall length of this necklace measures approximately 33” in total length. The cost of this necklace is $100.00. This necklace is designed and created in New York City.
