Ring in the New Year at President Lincoln’s Cottage!
On the evening of December 31st, join us for Freedom’s Eve, a celebration in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. Just as thousands of men, women, and children kept watch on New Year’s Eve in anticipation of the decree, we will honor the momentous event with festivities at the Cottage, the very place where President Lincoln developed the Emancipation Proclamation. Enjoy live music, a dessert buffet, and an open bar featuring wine, beer, champagne, and a signature cocktail.
Tickets are $100 per person. Advance payment is required, and all purchases are non-refundable. For tickets or information, contact Sahand Miraminy at 202-829-0436 x31232 or SMiraminy@savingplaces.org.
Free on-site parking is available and a free round-trip shuttle from the Georgia Avenue-Petworth metro station will be provided. Entrance gate is located at Upshur St, NW and Rock Creek Church Road, NW.
