Join President Lincoln’s Cottage and the United States Commission on Civil Rights on Friday, December 11 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 13th Amendment. Scholars Christian Samito, George Rutherglen, and Edna Greene Medford will discuss the historical, legal, and contemporary impact of the 13th Amendment. Their panel discussion will be followed by an audience.
Space is limited and registrants are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Please register as soon as possible to ensure your spot. The program will begin in the Cottage at 10am and conclude at 12pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
